Courses

All classes, Pregnancy Yoga, Postnatal Yoga and Baby Massage, are taught by myself, a certified Pregnancy and Postnatal Yoga Teacher and Developmental Baby Massage instructor, trained by Himalayan Yoga Institute and Peter Walker, you will be taught on an approved course, endorsed by FEDANT.

• My classes have been designed to be up-to-date and factually correct at the time of teaching and to represent the current accepted professional standards with regard to Pre/post Pregnancy Yoga and Developmental Baby Massage.

• Baby Massage with Amy Rudd reserves the right to decline any application to attend any of the classes.

• If you, your partner or baby becomes unwell during the session, you should immediately seek medical advice from a health professional. 

• Baby Massage with Amy Rudd cannot accept responsibility or liability of any loss, damage or injury to any person or property arising out of or resulting from attendance at our classes.  You are particularly advised to take care of all personal property and possessions. 

• You are bound to disclose any information regarding yours & your baby's health relevant to the practise of the class you are attending.

• You are responsible for all applications of skills you may practise outside the classes both now & in the future.

General Terms and Conditions

• All services purchased from Baby Massage with Amy Rudd must be preceded by the applicant acknowledging that he/she has no physical limitations preventing him/her from participation. If there are any medical conditions or injuries the client is advised to check with their doctor that the class is suitable for them. Please inform the teacher if there are any such conditions.

• Where the teacher will do their best to help in these circumstances and offer alternatives, the client must at all times remain responsible for their own body. If anything does not feel right we would encourage you to stop immediately and rest as teachers and staff will in no way be held responsible.

Booking/Payment Methods

Bookings are taken online via our website:

• Once payment has been made, in full, you will receive an email booking confirmation confirming your place and the dates included in your booking.  Please inform us immediately if any incorrect dates or venues have been selected so these can be rectified whilst bookings remain available.  It is your responsibility to check dates and venue have been correctly selected – places book quickly I will endeavour to adjust where possible – whilst places are available.

• Cancellation within 14 days of the course start date or withdrawing during a course is classed as a cancellation and no refund for the course or remaining classes will be given. Cancellation of the course outside of 14 days will receive a full refund minus £5.00 administration fees.

• If you accidentally book onto the wrong class please refrain from rebooking a place - instead contact Amy Rudd on 07799474588, ASAP to ask for your ticket to be transferred onto another class. Rebooking another class via our website will incur an administration fee to cancel the extra booking.

• Baby Massage with Amy Rudd Private Parties/Private Bookings/Nurseries.  Private bookings, parties and nursery sessions can be booked with us please email amyruddbabymassage@gmail.com with your enquiry and we will advise price and availability.  All of these bookings are taken at my discretion and full terms will be agreed on email, we usually require 50% deposit of agreed booking amount and payment is made at the time of booking with the balance to be paid 7 days before booking date.  Deposit is non-refundable if cancelled by booker.

Supervision and withdrawal of service

All babies/children must be supervised and must not be left unattended. The class teacher cannot be responsible for a baby/child at any time.  Should a parent/carer or associated visitor behave in a way that the teacher feels is unreasonable, then the company reserves the rights to withdraw the provision of classes to the client and if necessary safeguarding procedure's will be followed. A copy of the safeguarding policy is available upon request.

Renewals

No later than two weeks before your term runs out your class teacher will ask you whether you wish to renew for another term. We will inform you of how to rebook your space, this is usually done via our online booking system. Note however that places remain on a first come first served basis. Parents are usually given 2 weeks to book their space before spaces are offered to the wider community.

Data Protection

The information on the booking form contains personal data.  Baby Massage with Amy Rudd will record, process, and keep your personal information secure in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.  Information will not be passed onto a third party.

Videos, photographs, and confidentiality.

We love you taking pictures or videos of your babies/children during the course provided it does not interfere with the class. In addition, please always seek permission of taking phots of other babies/children.

Covid - 19

Please note that the following 'Ts & Cs' apply until further notice,  Due to the current pandemic, it is likely that Covid - 19 will cause local lockdowns at different times and we all need to be as flexible as we can. 

• Should face to face classes be cancelled following government or local authority advice due to Covid 19 or any other pandemic, classes will immediately move online.  No transfers or refunds will be given if classes are cancelled due to reasons our of my control.  Online sessions will be provided instead until face to face sessions can be held again.

• Please do not attend a class if you or baby develops any of the symptoms related to Covid 19 or test positive on a Lateral Flow or PCR.   You will be offered to attend the class online or reschedule your class at no extra cost.

• If I or any of my family members develop any of the symptoms related to Covid 19 (Or any other infectious illness)  or test positive on a Lateral Flow or PCR.  I shall run the session online if I am well enough to do so or postpone the classes until I am no longer an infection risk.  No refunds shall be given in these circumstances.

• Online classes will be held via Zoom, a link and password will be forwarded for your use only.  All attendees will be held in a virtual waiting room.  By taking part in an online session you release responsibility of the instructor.

• Guidance on Covid 19 safety measures within face to face classes will be forwarded to those attending the sessions and a risk assessment has been completed, a copy can be provided upon request.

Changes to our Terms and Conditions.

Baby Massage with Amy Rudd,  from time to time may need to update or change these T&Cs. I will inform you of changes through regular channels of communication and you have 14 days to opt out of accepting changes in writing.  Failure to do so will entitle Baby Massage with Amy Rudd to treat this agreement with you as being updated with the changes.  Baby Massage with Amy Rudd, Terms and Conditions are aimed to offer and present a fair structure to all who attend. We aim to provide our clients with the highest quality classes we can give.  Please note participation of a Baby Massage with Amy Rudd class is entirely at your own risk without any proven negligence or breach of duty of care or lack of due diligence by Baby Massage with Amy Rudd or any of its network and employees.
